Field Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our client in Phoenix, AZ. This person will be responsible for calibrating and servicing fixed gas detection systems at customer sites. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Calibrate and service fixed gas detection systems.
Maintain accurate logs and records of service activities.
Use specialized software for daily calibrations and diagnostics.
Communicate effectively via email and other digital platforms.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing ladders.
Operate lifts when necessary to access equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with gas detection systems, or entry-level candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience and willingness to train.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Electrical experience is a significant advantage.
Proficient in using computers for maintaining logs, emailing, and using calibration software.
Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Ability to work independently on-site at customer locations.
